- by putting them into a paragraphs in the body of the post (with HTML turned ON); good for one or two.
- by creating an album in the Gallery and linking the album to a short blog post summarizing the "photo essay" in the album; the item under Research about WWI munitions is an example of this approach.
Both options require that you first put the photos into the Gallery. I have created an album called News Images with a couple of sample photos.
Individual photos
- Put each image into the News Images album OR create a sub-album if for multiple photos.
- PREVIEW the photo in the public view; click it to expand the image; repeat until it does not expand.
- right-click the image and copy the URL of the image (NOT the URL at top of window!)
- return to blog
- create your new post
- you must use HTML to use these techniques, turn it ON
- turn auto line feeds OFF;
- add introductory paragraph(s)
- In the body of the post, create a paragraph, and copy and paste the respective URL from the public view. For example (note the style parameters); look at this post in the Editing Suite to see how it works,
Note that as you squeeze the window the photo will adapt. You can play with the max-width value if you want a small view.
